At this point you might be wondering why I’m so passionate about The Book of Life, and why I’ve spent so much time promoting it.

First, The Book of Life is a fantastic novel with a great message!   It has all the makings of a great story and the message is greatly needed in our world today.

Secondly, the author is our daughter!  And what mom doesn’t boast about her child from time to time.  I couldn’t be more proud of Heather, but not for the reasons you might think.  I am proud of Heather because she was obedient to what the Lord called her to do, and she gives Him all the glory.  The last year and a half was definitely a challenge, but Heather didn’t give up.   And because she didn’t give up, you and I get to experience this amazing story – the story of God’s neverending love – The Greatest Story Ever Told.

Would you like to know a little bit more about the book?   Here is Heather’s next post.  Be Blessed!

Hi Everyone!

For those who haven’t logged on for a while, please check out my post from yesterday. It will catch you up to speed. There, you will find out more information about my recently published, and soon to be released, novel “The Book of Life: The Greatest Story Ever Told.”

For those of you who have already read my post from yesterday and watched the video book trailer, you may have found yourself wanting to know more about this book. I realize that I didn’t give out many details, so here is a bit more information to whet your appetite through the book’s press release:

THINK YOU KNOW THE STORY OF THE BIBLE? THINK AGAIN.

Imagine a world filled with conflict and chaos. The greatest war ever to be fought wages all around, never ceasing day or night, leaving countless victims in its wake. What if this were real? And what if you didn’t know?

In her soon to be released novel, “The Book of Life: The Greatest Story Ever Told,” scheduled to be released on December 12th, 2012 by “His word press,” Heather Rae Hutzel unearths Biblical mysteries and breathes life into the widely popular, yet often divisive, book known as the Bible. In this novel, Hutzel combines the overarching storyline of the Bible with a writer’s creative touch, creating a provocative story that sheds light on what may have gone on behind the scenes of the Biblical narrative.

The fiction novel is based on the words of the Bible and narrates the story of God’s immeasurable love and the unrelenting pursuit of His created beings. Told through the unique perspective of the Archangel Michael, the main character recounts the battles, losses, and victories he has witnessed while serving his King throughout the ages.

“There are countless movies and books that re-create the individual stories of the Bible,” Hutzel says, “but there is none quite like this one. Most people don’t realize that the central story of the Bible is one of war with love as the battlefield. “The Book of Life” will open people’s eyes to see the spiritual battles waging all around.”

Hutzel has a unique literary writing style that weaves Biblical Scripture into the narrative and dialogue. This spiritual warfare saga has a flair that hearkens such classics as Frank Peretti’s “Piercing the Darkness.” The 25-year-old author puts an interesting spin on the Bible saying: “Our lives are shaped by stories. I choose to allow mine to be formed by the greatest story ever told.”

Just a little more information, but I hope you’re getting excited about “The Book of Life: The Greatest Story Ever Told.”  It won’t be long now.  Be sure to order a copy on 12.12.12.

Please pass it on!  More tomorrow.
