I couldn’t believe it! The news came out of the blue, when we least expected it! But wait… I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me start back at the beginning.

Over a year ago, our ministry team was looking for ways to expand our outreach. Living in Truth Ministries began in 2008, and although we have reached many women with great success, we were, and still are, considered small potatoes in the non-profit/ministry world. Our goal is to reach as many women as possible with the truth that leads them to freedom, so we always need to think strategically.

One of our board members suggested we try partnering with YouVersion as a content provider for their app. With such a large audience and outreach, we could connect with many more women who need God’s truth. Since it was her suggestion, she offered to make the initial contact. We sent out a prayer request to our BOP (Board of Protectors) Prayer Warriors and waited.

The response we received back was not what we were hoping to hear. Although they graciously thanked us for our interest, they also explained that they were no longer accepting new content partners.

Seriously? It feels like every time we try to board a ship to new places, we get there a moment too late and realize it has already left the harbor.

Why does this keep happening? It feels like there are forces working against us. And there are! “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

Although our team was disheartened by the outcome, we continued sowing in the ministry field where God already had us.

Over a year later when YouVersion was no longer on our radar, we received another email.  This time it was great news! After hiring more worker bees, they were interested in reviewing what we had to offer.

Long story short… our Bible Plan was published on YouVersion earlier this week! We are beyond excited for this amazing opportunity.

We are in the boat, excited for the next leg of our ministry journey, and we couldn’t wait to share with you the good news!  CLICK HERE TO CHECK IT OUT!

After you check it out, please rate the plan. Your feedback will help our plan reach even more women.

Friends, God is faithful! This experience reminds me that we need to wait on God’s timing. He knows what is best, and He sees the FULL picture.

Is there is something you are praying for, waiting to take place, and you believe it falls within God’s will? Don’t give up or lose hope. Place it in God’s more than capable hands and let Him do what only He can do.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord” (Psalm 27:14).
