We can be our own worst enemies. We try to tell ourselves that we can, but we are also quick to say, “I can’t do that!. Are you crazy? I am not capable; you should probably choose someone better.” The funny thing about that is we are not the ones who can say what we are called for, and what we are not. The Lord is amazing, and He has a plan for each and every one of us. He knew this plan way before we were even born. He knew you would be here, right now, sitting at your laptop, your iPad, or your phone reading this message. He knew you would need a little encouragement. So He placed this on my heart so that I can tell you….. YES YOU CAN!!!
The Lord has placed something on my heart at least nine years ago. I went up for prayer two different times at two different churches to be prayed over by two people, who at the time, I didn’t know from Adam. But they both had something very important from the Lord to tell me. They both, in their own words, let me know that the Lord had something very special planned for my life, and He was going to be the only way I would be able to walk this out. He showed me that His plan involved women and showing them their worth. I thought, “Okay Lord, how am I going to be able to do this? Who am I to be able to lead anyone, much less a group of women seeking you?”
I love watching Him work. Over the past few years He has taught me: I am capable, I am worthy, and I am loved. Through all my trials, He is right here beside me and walking me through the fire. He is holding my hand. I am not alone, and He will never waste a hurt. The past few years, He has been molding me into this woman that He has created me to be. He has taken my broken pieces and put them back together with gold. The best part about all of this is, if He is doing this for me, you had better believe He is doing this for you as well. Sometimes, it looks different for others. When you pray for something, be prepared to walk it out. It may not look the way we think it will, but every prayer is heard, and every prayer is answered. Maybe not in our expected time frame, and maybe not the way we want, and sometimes the answer is a no, but every prayer is answered.
He loves us so much He will never forsake us. He has a calling on your life, and He will guide, prepare, and equip you in ways you can never imagine. But, you better believe that you can do anything. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all this through the one who gives me strength.” He will give you the strength. He will give you the courage. He will give you everything you need to walk out His plan for your life. All you need to do is dig deep, trust Him, and know that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He will never leave you or forsake you. John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
See ladies, he wants to give you peace. He never said we would go without troubles. But what He does say is He wants you to live in peace because He has already overcome those troubles, and He is going to use them all for good. You can do this! If it is truly from the Lord, there is nothing that man can do to stop you.
