βIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.β (Genesis 1:1)
Does God have a favorite color?
I pondered this question one morning while staring out my living room window. The piercing blue sky provided an exquisite backdrop against the vibrant, green foliage of the trees.Β The combination of colors was breath taking.
God reveals Himself throughΒ His Word, but He also reveals Himself through that which He has made.Β Scripture tells us that even those who have neverΒ read a BibleΒ can still come to know God through His creation.
βFor since the creation of the world Godβs invisible qualitiesβhis eternal power and divine natureβhave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.β (Romans 1:20)
Is it possible thatΒ Godβs favorite color is blue?Β After all, this color appears more than any other throughout His creation.Β The sky appears to be blue and surrounds the entire earth.Β Water appears to be blue and covers about 70% of the earthβs surface, and from outer space, ourΒ world appears blue and is even referred to as the blue planet.
While contemplating theseΒ possibilitiesΒ in my heart, God reminded me of a basic truth. Color is only visible when there is light.
βBut everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.β (Ephesians 5:13)
At night, both the sky and water appear black.Β The color blue is only discernible when light is present. The absence of light makesΒ it virtually impossible to see color or, for that matter, anything else God created.Β But with light we can see Godβs creation in all its glory.
In much the same way, we must allow Godβs light and Spirit to illuminate our path of understanding.Β The Spirit of enlightenment opens our eyes to all Godβs glory, even when we are walking in darkness.
Questioning Godβs favorite color may seem silly to you, but I happen to believe God delights in knowing we desire to learn such intimate details about Him. Of course, knowing Godβs favorite color isnβt the important thing.Β What really mattersΒ is that we knowΒ our Heavenly FatherΒ moreΒ intimately day by day.
βCall to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.β (Jeremiah 33:3)
Hmmβ¦. The color blue?Β Sounds like a winner to me!
Black and Blue
Blue just blue
Wow cool WoW thanks agai
While reading my Bible, I discovered that God made mention of BLUE and PURPLE Alot, like more than 12 times in Exodus. So, that’s why I had to ask that does that really means that God favorite colour is blue and purple.π€
I have a story, when I was younger I wanted to know what God’s favorite color is. I would pray vigorously wondering what His favorite color is. One day I heard God tell me His favorite color is purple. After doing more research from when I grew older I realized that this is correct! The bible talks about Jesus wearing the color purple and how it was a royal color.
I thought the same thing…only God himself knows. I was doing some research on the colors that make up light and Violet stood out to me. Violet is what we will call purple and in light the color that has the highest energy is Violet. But blue runs in that race too according to visibility.
Google – The higher the frequency, the faster the oscillations and thus the higher the energy. Therefore, the highest-frequency ultra-violet light (or the lowest wavelength) is violet. However, the highest-frequency visible light would have to be roughly blue.
Uhh this was confirmation for me I asked God was his favorite color blue or green he straight up said Purple then went on to explain purple for royalty π if you seek him you will find yβall doing all this searching just ask God !
Thanks for sharing Renea. You are absolutely right that we just need to ask God. He is faithful to answer. God Bless!
I would believe that our creator likes all colors.
Since astral space is immense It would seem God’s favorite color is Black.
His second favorite would seem to be Blue which encompasses the sky.
After that Dark Brown which represents the soil, and Green for the plants. And since White is the presence of all colors, and not simply it’s own, it is often used as a symbol for purity. But this is a flawed human writing this, and actually all colors come from Him, so all are his favorite, even the ones we humans can’t see.
Gods favorite color is purple
Purple is a symbolism of royalty
Blue
Wow!
And here I was thinking it’s brown. π Thanks a lot for your reply.
lol
God’s favorite color is October…
When God instructed Moses in Exodus regarding the construction the colors He chose were blue, red and purple for curtains, garments etc. After reading the books of the law, I was wondering if blue was God’s favorite color. And perhaps pomegranate is His favorite fruit? The drain of the Ephod had the fruit and bell altrrnate in patter. That was interesting
His favorite color is Sapphire Blue. The writer details it very well. You will see the color is so in Exodus 24:10. Purple to represent royalty is not like Him. He doesnt need color to show He is number One. In revelations you see He even has a beautiful living river that flows from His throne. It will make you question when did He create water.
Yes finally
Blue, my favourite colour !!
Green …Revelations 4:3 talks about His throne being surrounded by emerald. His seat is glowing green which is the color of HOPE!
Agreed Sara
realy all colors are not what they appear the light reflects the color and that color bounces off so realy you could say it’s blue but it could realy be brown, for god sees all things (If you understand. Also I think the Lords favirote ( I know I spelled that wrong. Don’t judge!) color is rainbow, for god loves all his creations and he created color to so my hypothosis could be a reasonable answer.
I found this on asking his favorite color on google. bc i was working and i heard a voice say i love these colors so much, that im working on at work. im alone in this room. its a royal purple and a dark gold brown kinda, almost like a planet brown color. but im sure he loves all colors. he says he loves all his creations.
Growing up I was always told that Royal purple was God’s favorite color and that you should have at least one article in your home that is Royal purple, for me I have a Royal purple blanket and a Royal purple set of bath towels.
