Dear Friends,

At the end of this post, I’m extending an invitation, one that I really hope you will accept. So please read all the way through. I have some very exciting news to share.

As the end of 2015 draws near, I wanted to take a few minutes and provide a few updates regarding Living in Truth Ministries (LITM).

In a nut shell, this has been an incredible year!

Whether you are new to this ministry or have been a faithful subscriber since its beginning, I know you will be encouraged by what I’m about to share.

Perhaps you have heard the saying that God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.  This statement has never been more true than through our ministry.

In 2008, when God called me to be His hands and feet, offering women of all ages a safe, loving, Christian environment where they could break free from eating disorders and body-image lies, I was dumbfounded. I had absolutely no earthly credentials to lead such a ministry.

What I did have was personal experience, because God had set me free from my own twenty-five year battle with bulimia, and I was passionate to help others experience that same freedom.

So… despite my insecurities, inhibitions, and lack of knowledge about managing a non-profit organization, I said yes to God.

Why?

Because God had proven Himself faithful over and over again. If God called me to it, He would bring me through it.

And did He ever!

Although this organization started small, Living in Truth Ministries has grown exponentially. One of the ways we have grown is by joining forces with two other non-profit organizations in Greater Cincinnati (Crossroads Church and Eve Center). By teaming up with these organizations, we are reaching even more women and girls through our program materials, healing groups, presentations, and Internet support.

Starting in January 2016, healing groups that are a direct result of this ministry will be meeting in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. God is good!

God is on the move again. Recently, a ministry that operates out of the largest college campus in the U.S. contacted us about our program. If they decide to adopt our support/healing group program, thousands of young women will have access to our eating disorder program materials. Since eating disorders are rampant on college campuses, this is a great outreach to a much needed community. If the largest campus in the U.S. adopts this program, others are sure to follow.

Our God is a BIG God, and He has big plans for this ministry. But we need your help!

As this ministry grows, so do our needs. This is where you come in. Would you prayerfully consider making a year-end gift to help support our mission?

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your gift is tax deductible. Every dollar you give really does make a difference in the lives of those working towards freedom. You can mail your tax-deductible donation to: Living in Truth Ministries,  P.O. Box 501, Hebron, KY 41048 or make a donation through our secure Paypal link as well:

I do have one final appeal. Please help us spread the word about this ministry so that others can experience true and lasting freedom through our proven and effective program and materials. If you have enjoyed our Daily Encouragement devotions, please share them with your friends, family and co-workers.

And finally, if you or someone you know could benefit from this ministry, please direct them to LivingInTruthMinistries.com.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Rae Lynn DeAngelis (Founder/Executive Director of Living in Truth Ministries)
