When I was a kid my mom used to say, “Rae Lynn, God has ways that we know nothing about.”
She was absolutely right.
Not only does God have ways that we know nothing about but His ways are higher. Thank goodness!
I have received so much comfort from this truth, especially when things happen that I don’t understand or seem unfair. I have to remember, God has a plan and His ways are higher.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the LORD.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
I pray this passage encourages you today no matter what you are facing.
God sees. God knows. God cares.
Place your concerns into His more than capable hands, and trust His higher ways.
