“In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”  (2 Timothy 2:20-21)

God ingeniously designed His creation to adapt and change. As cooler temperatures set in and nature prepares for winter, trees go dormant, fur coats grow thick, birds fly south, squirrels gather nuts, bears hibernate, and fish dive deep. Long before winter appears, God prepares nature for what lies ahead.

God does the same with you and me.  He knows exactly what we need and prepares us for what’s to come.

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)

Take a moment and reflect back over your life. Can you see how God has been preparing you “for such a time as this”?  Every moment from the past is an intricate part of God’s divine plan for your life, both now and for your future. Embrace it!  If God has brought you to it – He will get you through it.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

“So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.”  (Deuteronomy 5:32-33)
